If Christ is not the center of worship…then why bother to worship at all? As a community of people with needs - and in need - we are blessed with a loving, and forgiving, God. A Father, A Friend, A Caregiver…. who reaches out to his broken family with hands that seek to embrace our pain, our doubts, and our suffering. A Healer…. who understands our needs and offers us healing. A Partner …who gives to us freely and who beckons our response (our acceptance!)…. to His love!

Not surprisingly, this same Loving Friend never turns away, never stops seeking, and never gives-up. Such is the Divine Love that cares and provides for His children; and such is the Gift of Love that we are given…..to heal our broken and fractured lives.

We Believe, Teach and Confess...

The Apostle Paul wrote: "For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake." [2 Cor. 4:5]. All that we believe, all that we understand and teach, and all that we share and confess with one another, comes from God alone…..a gift wrapped with a bow in shape of a Cross….and a life (an Eternal Life!) covered with the forgiveness of Christ. For we can know, with complete and full certainty, that our salvation comes freely as a gift from our Father, dependent on nothing from ourselves, but only on our choice to believe and accept….… with all our heart.

Christian Education

Our study of God's Word helps us to understand, and grow, our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Through Sunday School, Confirmation, and Youth/Adult Bible Study, through teaching, dialog and discussion, we strive to comprehend the depth and intensity of God's love. We seek to know, and better understand, who we are and what we are to do with our lives. We look for answers to the Why? questions in the world and in our own personal relationships. And we learn to reach out to one another with forgiveness, compassion and love. But, above all else, we come to accept and believe, to affirm and proclaim, that Jesus Christ (Jesus, the Carpenter of Nazareth) brought the love and life of God to all people, to everyone!
