Sermon Theme "Blest Be The Tie That Binds!"

Pastor: Louis Natzke

John´s book of "Revelation" has warned of "Chaos," and "Chaos" certainly has been the order of the day. John talks about the "End of Time" when all God´s Children will sing "Worth is the Lamb," but what is going to make that happened? In 1772 John Fawcett accepted a Call to leave his Parish, but after preaching his farewell sermon he decided to stay. Ten years later he wrote "Blest Be the Tie that Binds" because he discovered "What Holds Us Together" is God´s Love. Friends, a lot can divide us in our family, community or church, but what "Hold Us Together" is God´s Love. You see the anchor points cannot be the result of "Power Struggles." The bridge over troubled waters always has to lead to the Cross of Christ where Jesus died to give US Life. But today that same bridge must also be used to bring God´s People together around Faith, Hope and Love.

Series Theme"Can We Really Live Together" Part 1 of 4 Build a Foundation for Peace

Pastor: Louis Natzke

Can we really live together? You bet, for who is it that "Builds a Foundation for Peace?" The woman at the well was a Samaritan but Jesus built a bridge. The Good Samaritan was estranged from God´s people but Jesus built a bridge. Zacchaeus was an "outsider", but Jesus built a bridge. How can we reach out to "Muslins and Buddhists", or build bridges with "outsiders and strangers?" God so loved the world that he gave His only son that whosoever believes shall not perish. Jesus died on the cross so that "ALL" of our sins so the sins of "ALL”"could be forgiven. "Forgiveness" fortifies our relationships even as we show "Humility" and have "Respect." Are we going to reveal God´s love to everybody or just those who match our Demographics? Who in our community did Jesus die for on the cross? There is not one person who has been deleted from His "Book of Books!"

Series Theme"Can We Really Live Together" Part 3of 4 Know You Are Loved

Pastor: Louis Natzke

Today as we move to our third step toward "Harmony", we discover how important it is to know "You are Loved!" God´s word teaches "Love your Neighbour as Yourself," for we cannot love the Neighbour until we accept the Self! But Love of Self is possible only because we have been redeemed "By Grace through Faith!" I have loved you with an everlasting love the Lord told us in Jeremiah, so I drew you out in loving kindness! But can we really live together if we are not willing to begin with God´s Grace and build bridges with loving kindness? Friends may you Build a Foundation for Peace, Take Time to be Happy and Know you are Loved because by God´s Grace you and I can "Get all the Gusto Out of Life!"

Series Theme "Do You have an Exit Plan"

Pastor: Louis Natzke

So Jesus told His disciples rather emphatically "Come Now, Let us Leave!”"The plan had great expectations for "God so loved the World!" And yet by the time our Lord said "It is Finished" all expectations were fulfilled. "Peace I leave with you my Peace I give unto you, not as the world gives do I give!" So He said "Do not let your Heart be Troubled, and do not be Afraid!" Today His spirit has given you eternal life and empowered you to "Enjoy new Life!" because your "Exit Plan" has nailed down your "Life Plan." Today your "Bags are Packed!" His spirit gives you the "Secrets to Success" to Change your world in Jesus Name.

Series Theme"Can We Really Live Together" Part 4of 4 Go for the Gustonin Life

Pastor: Louis Natzke

There is no better use of the piano then when the musician begins a piece of music followed by a large orchestra, accompanied by an equally large choir. The Key to Harmony however is ensuring each one of the 88 keys "Stay in Tune." Problems arise of course, when we go "Out of Tune,”" and the world around us starts to sound a note of "Disharmony." In the context of "Marriage and Family" the ensuing problems are instantly obvious and life takes on a downward "SPIN." But in "Church and Society" disharmony has sounded a far broader note of dissonance. Clearly therefore, when we are "Out of Tune" with our faith then relationships also "SPIN" in a downward spiral. It is at that moment we ask ourselves "Can we really live together?" Friends "One Note" does not make a Symphony, that is why "The Good Shepherd lays down His Life for all the Sheep." Jesus sacrificed His Life that all of us might have "Life and have it to the Full."

Series Theme "Do You Live in Hope"

Pastor: Louis Natzke

Have we exchanged money for Hope, rather than Opening Doors by God´s Grace? The parable of the Rich Man is in many ways a parable for Kanata and Stittsville today. What must I do to inherit eternal life, he asked in other words I have everything else and I want it ALL! If you loved Me, Jesus suggests you should keep my commandments! Then sell all you have Jesus answered and come Follow Me! But Hope and Security can not be tied to "What I do but Who I am." You may very well be wealthy and secure but that does not mean you have "Hope." Hope describes who you "Are" and not what you "Do." The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. You make me lie down in green pastures and lead me beside still waters and restore my soul. You see that gives me "HOPE." Are you going to stay healthy, wealthy and wise for the rest of your life? You do not know that but you do know that God Loves You with an Everlasting Love.
